My experience learning English has been really good so far, I have learned a lot of things in English classes during this year, but I know is not enough, there is a bunch of aspect of my English that have to be improved.
In the first place, the reading, this semester the teachers have assigned us a lot of texts in English, this is not really a problem, I can understand those texts, the real problem is the fact that read those texts takes me a lot of time, a text that normally would take an hour, takes me 2 hours, even more and, when you have a bunch of texts that you have to read for the next week because you have an important test, time is gold and you can not lose it. The way I have planned to improve this is not so clear, but I think if I expose myself to more texts in English, my reading ability will improve enough to read faster, maybe not enough as it would be read in Spanish, but enough to not lose too much time.
In the second place, the writing, I have noticed during this year that my writing is not so good, I have found me committing fool grammatical mistakes. I think that the blog is a good tool to improve it, by the posts we make our practice and exercise our writing abilities, and the regularity we make these posts also contribute.
English is the universal language by consensus, so is really important to know it, besides the use that it have in our professional lives, it also has a common use, I mean, English is in every place, nowadays is mandatory know English if you don't want to stay behind.
Blog were a very good way to improve our writing abilty.
