When it came down to choosing a major, I was at first seduced by engineering, I just loved the fact of making a lot of money until I discovered my public duty, It changed my whole perspective. Since that moment I started to look other options more related with the humanities.
At first I thought of Laws, Political science, until my teacher told me about public management. That afternoon I went home and immediately searched the structure of that study program, it was love at first sight, It had everything I always wanted to study, since that moment, I knew this was my place in the world.
About my university options, I always thought about Chile, but I do not reject the idea of doing a post-graduate program in other country, if I come across with the possibility, I would not think it twice, specially in England. In Chile this university was not my first choice, I always thought of Universidad de Antofagasta as a first option and Universidad de Chile as an unlikely one.
Luckily for me I was accepted here. To me this experience, besides of being difficult to be away of my family, especially to a family guy like me, has been great, I enjoy the majority of the subjects, especially the ones related to public administration, because they make me understand the dynamics of the Chilean state, but the most important thing these subjects have taught me is to think outside the box, be creative and adaptable to new situations in order to create more "public value".

you can't fool me , you still want money
